This stemmed Bohemian glass combines a luminous ruby red with an engraved animal motif. A leaping stag, accompanied by a hound, depicts a hunting scene in a wooded landscape. The silhouettes and foliage stand out clearly against the red background, creating a contrast. The glass features a design organised into sections. The animal scene occupies the upper section, whilst a pattern of geometric facets gives rhythm to the lower section. The short stem rests on a wide circular base, which is also adorned with light-coloured areas.
