Silver pendant with translucent green enamel on a guilloché background. Oval in shape, the symmetrical design is centred on a floral motif set with glass beads and enhanced with enamel and gold “paillon”. Small opalescent enamel pearls frame this design. Associated with the traditional costume of the Bresse region, Bresse enamel jewellery enjoyed its golden age between 1830 and 1900, a period characterised by great creative richness and the widespread popularity of this regional jewellery.
