8 fine white and cobalt blue earthenware dessert plates decorated with bindweed.
REF:84
The Flora service with bindweeds is one of the most emblematic dinner services produced by the Creil and Montereau faience manufacturers in the second half of the 19th century. The Flora aux liserons service was first presented to the public at the 1855 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Its immediate success made it one of the great classics of Creil and Montereau earthenware during the Belle Epoque. The popularity of the Flora pattern led to the creation of several variants, including the blue Flora T., the Flora Vigne and the Flora Muguet.
