Underglaze mark F.P.G for Gotha Fritz Pfeffer. Pfeffer was a renowned porcelain manufacturer based in Gotha, Germany. Founded in 1757, it produced until its closure in 1934. The factory is best known for producing porcelain dogs and, less frequently, other animals.
